Much like Thanos... (Non-Spoiler Review of Avengers: Infinity Wars)
I went to see Avengers: Infinity War with my family last night. It was a fun family movie night, though of course, it SPOILER when it means watching most of your favorite characters SPOILER, SPOILER and SPOILER.
What surprised me the most though was how sympathetic Thanos is within the movie. You know when your dream is to SPOILER and you try to balance family with your professional goals? I mean who hasn't been tempted to throw SPOILER down a towering SPOILER just so you can get SPOILER and help keep moving your agenda forward. As a modern father and SPOILER, I have to admit I didn't know if I should feel bad or cheer him on.
TD;LR - Directors Anthony & Joe Russell did admirably pulling in nearly all major Marvel heroes and still give them the opportunity to keep it interesting. Josh Brolin (Thanos) is nuanced as a character that would normally be stupidly 2D. The final fight scenes get overly cray-cray, and the ending is SPOILER and SPOILER. If you've watched the other movies, you definitely want to see this. If you are new Marvel movies (or have been living under a rock), then this is not the one to start with.
