My Flight Leaves in 35min
Today I’m heading to NYC to give a workshop in organizational dynamics and teambuilding skills. It’ll be the first time I’ve ever presented this material to people and nothing that is so specific to an industry. There will probably be a certain amount of give-and-take with this presentation. In some respects, I’m glad it is a workshop because then it will be an opportunity to engage w/ the participants and hopefully learn from the experience. Mostly, I hope it doesn’t crash and burn. “Good”, “so-so”, “mediocre” - That’s fine. “Needs improvement” - I can live with. However, an aggressive, non-fun audience? Nah, that would be bad. But, I don’t think that will happen.
What I’m excited about is returning to NYC. It’s so great that I get to go back. Hopefully, this time I won’t miss my flight on the way home. Last time, I got stuck at JFK overnight and almost missed Halloween. Luckily, I have a good week to get back to LA in time for Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I won’t be living my own version of “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles”.
