What I'm Reading -
Since we're getting into the gift-giving season, I'm beginning to think about what I own. A couple months ago, I started theLife-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo but never finished it. However, I recently found this awesome manga version which covers all the general ideas but in comic-book form (always a plus). Inspired by Japanese Shintoism, she counsels a method of decluttering that focuses on keeping what you love (ie. spark joy), while also assuaging the guilt of discarding items. Though the book is definitely borderline-lethal on the cutesiness, her methods really do seem to work. And, as all things good and profitable, she's about to have her own TV show.

This blurb is from the Stockholm Syndrome edition of Thoroughly Thursday.
